About Us

Mesa Palms began with a love for palms and a vision for what could grow in Southern Utah. After the devastating freeze that wiped out most of the area’s palms, Dave set out to replace what had been lost. What should have been a simple process turned into a frustrating experience. Long wait times, difficult access, and few reliable options. From that moment on, he wanted to create something better. His vision was to make palms more available, affordable, and accessible to everyone in St. George and beyond.

That vision grew into Mesa Palms. Tanner brought the brains behind the startup, helping lay the foundation and strategy to turn the idea into reality. Spencer, the one who “plays in the dirt” took the hands-on role, working directly with the trees, the soil, and the farm to make palms thrive here in Southern Utah. Together, what started as an idea has grown into a family business rooted in passion and hard work.

 

Today, Mesa Palms provides a wide selection of palms carefully grown on farms in California and Arizona, then brought here to St. George where they’re uniquely able to thrive in Utah’s only Zone 8 climate. From California Fan Palms to Mediterranean Fans, Pindos, and beyond, each tree represents not just a product but a piece of the vision Dave had after that freeze making palms easier for families, landscapers, and businesses to enjoy.

For us, palms aren’t just trees. They’re a way to bring beauty, shade, and a sense of oasis to yards, neighborhoods, and projects all across Southern Utah. And at Mesa Palms, that’s what we love doing every day.
